Red Hat And CentOS Partner on New Version

   Raleigh, North Carolina  --  Red Hat and CentOS announced a partnership to drive the development of the new CentOS forward.

The CentOS Project was initially released in 2004 that attempted to provide a free enterprise class computing platform with 100% binary compatibility with its upstream source, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Red Hat plans to contribute its resources and expertise to help establish more transparent project governance and a workable roadmap for development.
